Hey everyone. I have been meaning to participate in weekly wishes for a while now. If I'm being honest I feel like I have been participating, in my head. I read everyones weekly wishes and start thinking of the things I would like to accomplish but the posting never quite gets done. So here, this is my first official week participating and I am super pumped to be doing this with all you guys.
One // Start rebranding my etsy shop. I have had a new name floating around in my head, something that fits better, and I'm ready to make the switch. I am wanting to really make the push, take the plunge, and get after it as far as my shop is concerned. So far I have done minimal advertising and I have been lucky enough to start making some sales, but this is the year that I really go for it. I want to get into the nitty gritty of it and work towards making it bigger and better.
Two // Go running three times this week. I have the biggest love/hate relationship with running. I hate starting out. It's always rough and it gives me a headache and I
Three // Take my camera out and shoot. I love photography and I am constantly ooh-ing and ahh-ing over all the gorgeous photos that pop up in blog land. I took a photography class in college and that really got me going but I haven't kept up with it like I want to. I always make excuses about my city not being pretty enough, or not having someone to take portraits of (if only I would ask!), blah blah, you know how it goes. But this week I want to make some time to just drive around with no set plan and see what I find.
Four // Start a new book. I hit my 30 by 30 list hard the beginning of this month and I knocked 3 books off of my list in a week and a half! After that last book, I lost my momentum and didn't start another. So that's my final goal, start a new book.
Do you link up with Melissa for weekly wishes? Let me know in the comments, I want to read yours too!
I have three books on the go at the moment! It's bad because I've read about 6-10 pages in each. I need to stick to one and get on with it!
ReplyDeleterebranding is so fun!
ReplyDeleteSo fun about rebranding. Can't wait to see what photos you take!
ReplyDeleteWow we have some similar goals this week. Running was on my list last week and although I didn't add it this week, I have it on my handwritten list.
ReplyDeleteWhat great goals for the week, Sarah! I can't wait to see your Etsy rebrand-- I'm sure it will be incredible! :)
ReplyDelete3 weeks in a week and a half! That's amazing. I love to read but I take so long to finish one! I am doing a giveaway today and would love if you would stop by and check it out! http://www.thediaryofarealhousewife.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI have such a love/hate relationship with my etsy store, it's such hard work to get a sale on there compared to other outlets. Seems like i'm flogging a dead horse!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Weekly Wishes! :) Good luck rebranding your Etsy shop. That's exciting. I talked about reading in my post too. I was in a reading rut for awhile and finally got back into reading this weekend. Now it's all that I want to do! Good luck with your goals this week.
ReplyDeleteRebranding is fun! All the best to you. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am having a lot of fun with it, especially now that I know the direction I want to take.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I feel like I go from reading highs to reading ruts regularly. When I am reading I love it and it's all I want to do too, but I feel like I have to keep the momentum otherwise I'll stop.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you as well :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I can definitely understand. I feel like you have to put in so much work to get even a small amount of sales but I think that it's all about building it up. At least that is what I am working toward :)
ReplyDeleteI had a little help.. I had a few planes rides and layovers and an extended christmas vacation form work! That's such a great giveaway, entered :)
ReplyDeleteAwh, thank you so much, Kayli!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! I have been struggling with getting back into so I have a feeling its='s going to be on my list for a while as I slowly get back into it.
ReplyDeleteIt is! I am having fun with it. Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteIt really is! I thought that it would be stressful but it's actually been really nice.
ReplyDeleteI totally used to do that. I get really over-enthusiastic when it comes to reading and I want to read everything right now.. I have had to learn to pace myself haha :)
ReplyDeleteReading is so great and good luck with the running!
