MONTHLY INTENTIONS // OCTOBER

I am starting something new this coming month!  It's just like a monthly goals post but I am calling it Monthly Intentions.  I've always loved the definition of intention and its emphasis on purpose

In my life, my goals are little things that keep me focused on who I am, where I want to be, and how I am going to get there.  I like the idea of being intentional about these things and making them a special part of my purpose.

This month is bringing a lot of new things!  I am so, so excited.

1 // I would like to start saving this month.  I just got a new job and this seems like the perfect time to start in with a savings plan.  To keep me motivated I am trying to focus on the why.  First and foremost I'd like to save for going abroad.  Whether that be for teaching, or visiting, that savings will come in handy.

2 // Stick with my running plan all month.  I love running but sometimes I get lax with it and only run a day or two a week.  This will force me to stick to a schedule and hopefully build up to that half marathon I am wanting to run in the future.

3 // Start thinking about my plan for going abroad and how to attain it.  I know that it will involve lots of planning and research so why not start now?

What are your plans for the month?

  1. I love that you are calling it your monthly intentions rather than goals, it just seems more mindful and thoughtful! Where do you think you want to go when you travel abroad?

This month, I really want to focus on my health and stay calm as I go through a bit of a storm with upcoming procedures and I want to be better connected with friends. <3
